建築家、建築理論家。山口隆建築研究所主宰。
京都大学大学院工学研究科、建築学専攻、博士（工学）
博士論文のテーマ「ピーター・アイゼンマンの建築論 -diagramを巡る主要概念（subject, object）の考察-」
京都大学工学部建築学科卒業後、安藤忠雄建築研究所を経て独立。静謐な感性と知性を感じさせる作品が特徴。
フランス、イタリア、ドイツ、フィンランド、ルーマニア、ペルー、中国などから招待作家として展覧会を開催。
パリ・ラ・ヴィレット建築大学、ミラノ工科大学、清華大学、同済大学、プリンストン大学、
MITなどでレクチャーおよび設計デザイン教育をおこなう。ハーバード大学客員研究員、コロンビア大学客員教授、
東京大学客員研究員を経て、現在に至る。
主な受賞として第18回SDレビュー入選、朝倉賞（1990）、日本建築設計学会賞（2018）、
ベネディクタス大賞（2001）、パドヴァ国際建築ビエンナーレ バルバラ・カポキン賞（2005）、
ワールドメディアフェスティバル Public Relation 銀賞（2007）等多数。
主な作品として、霊源寺透静庵(1998)、瑞泉寺紫光堂(2000)、Metal Office(2004)、Parametric Fragments(2011)などがある。
主な著書にネットワークプラクティス（翻訳 2014）、DIAGRAM-SIDE OUT（2016）、ROBOTECTONIC（2020）等。

After graduated from Kyoto University, Takashi Yamaguchi has worked at Tadao Ando Architect & Associates and then established ARX-OSAKA.
He gave the lecture and taught at the Ecole Nationale Superieure d'Architecture de Paris La Villette, Politecnico di Milano, Tsinghua University, Tongji University, Princeton University, and Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
He previously served as a Visiting Professor of Columbia University GSAPP, Visiting Scholar of Harvard University GSD and Visiting Scholar of Tokyo University.
His research at the university is robotic architecture and architectural theory of Peter Eisenman.
As his representative works are Glass Temple, White Temple, Metal Office, Breathing Factory, Parametric Fragments, MOGANA, etc.
